NUTRITION AND WELLNESS // Nutrition and exercise should always go hand in hand, which is why Powerhouse Gym Denver has added a sports nutrition component. Our certified Sports Nutritionists assess your current diet and give expert advice on making healthy changes. Whether you want to gain or lose weight, or just want some suggestions to complement your current exercise program, we can help. The road to feeling stronger, more energized and healthier starts here. Single sessions and package options are available. 

Initial Session: Our hour-long nutrition analysis will include:

  • Body composition assessment: determines current body fat percentage and lean body mass to track and measure your improvements.

  • Target heart rate zone calculation: learn to use these numbers for maximum calorie burn throughout your workout.

  • Daily caloric intake: determines number of calories needed on workout and non-workout days. These numbers are the first step to gaining and losing weight or to becoming more aware of your body’s needs.

  • Food journaling: discussion of any current diet concerns.

Package: Diet analysis is an ongoing program in which we examine your current eating habits and determine new ways to eat better. Over a period of time and with some food tracking, we will be able to assess the good and not so good parts of your current diet. Meal planning is also available and highly recommended to get you started on the right path.
