Nutrition and Wellness Nutrition and exercise go hand in hand. This is why Powerhouse Gym Denver has added a sports nutrition component. We have certified Sports Nutritionists on staff to assess your current diet and give advice on making healthy changes. Whether you want to gain or lose weight or just want some suggestions to complement your current exercise program, we can help. The road to feeling stronger, more energized and healthier starts here. Single sessions and package deals are available for purchase. Initial Session: Our nutrition analysis will include a body composition assessment which will give us current body fat percentage and lean body mass. With these numbers, you will be able to measure your improvements. Your target heart rate zones will also be calculated and you will be taught how to use these numbers for maximum calorie burn throughout your workout. We will also find the total number of calories that you need to consume on workout and non-workout days. These numbers are the first step to gaining and losing weight or to becoming more aware of your body’s needs. Our session will last about an hour and we will discuss food journaling and your current diet concerns. Please contact the gym for current pricing. The diet analysis is an ongoing program in which we examine your current eating habits and come up with new ways to eat better. Over a period of time and with some food tracking, we will be able to assess the good and not so good parts of your current diet. We can make suggestions to your current eating habits.
